Lemon Cream Wine Sauce

Whether you’re making your own ravioli, or buying from the store (The Cheese Guy has incredible premade ravioli), this sauce is a hit. It’s creamy, light, fresh and so full of flavor.

Ingredients:
2 large shallots, slices
6-8 cloves of garlic, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan
Zest of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Sauté shallots and garlic on medium heat until soft and golden brown. Add in the white wine and allow for the alcohol to cook out. Once bubbly, add in the heavy cream and lemon zest. Mix carefully. Allow for the sauce to simmer and thicken, ~10 minutes, watching carefully and stirring to make sure it does not burn. Add the Parmesan, salt and pepper. Stir. Enjoy hot over your pasta/ravioli or fish. Top with more lemon zest, some fresh Parm and fresh cracked black pepper. Enjoy!
