These are an easy, delicious and simple side dish that will compliment any meal. It is what I like to call a "dump and go" recipe. I hope you give it a try!

Ingredients:
2 pounds raw string beans
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons of garlic, minced
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup water
2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions:
You are going to need a relatively deep pan for this. Heat up your oil and add in garlic. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add in raw string beans, and sauté until garlic is mixed in evenly and string beans begin to get some color on them. Sprinkle salt and pepper at this point. Don’t go too heavy on the salt, as the soy will carry that salty flavor for you. Add the 1/2 cup water, stir and cover. Leave covered for about 20 minutes, checking the beans for softness regularly.
Once the beans are soft to your liking, uncover and let the water evaporate out. Then, add the soy sauce. Depending on how shrunken the string beans are, you may decide to add more soy sauce. Mix to incorporate and then let the soy sauce caramelize for 5-10 minutes. Stir one last time and remove from heat.
The beans should have specks of garlic throughout and the soy should have a salty yet sticky effect on the string beans.
This recipe is always a crowd pleaser. Serve hot or cold, totally up to you! Enjoy!
